Ways to Give

The Boston Chapter of the Links and STEM

Beginning in 2012, The Boston Chapter of the Links, Inc. began an exciting partnership with the Martin Luther King, Jr. K-8 School, emphasizing healthy eating practices and physical activity. STEM discovery and exploration are now expanded to include the Museum of Science and Mass. General Hospital participation.

We collaborate with the King School throughout the year to provide priority-specific activities that enhance student and family learning and enjoyment. It is within this context that the Boston Chapter of the Links, Inc. reached out to the Boston Athletic Association, City Year, Haley House, the Fresh Truck, and various local fitness organizations including Afro-Flow Yoga and Hip Hop Fitness.

The generous contributions of these organizations along with the financial support of the BAA, enable the success of our annual Boston Links Fit for the King: Urban Field Day, and support Chapter sponsored health, fitness and wellness programs throughout the school year.

Staying at the forefront of providing service will not be possible without you.  It is what has sustained our organization through its most exciting and challenging times alike. Please continue the important legacy of philanthropy by making a gift today.

This is how…

The Links Foundation, Incorporated is the philanthropic arm of The Links, Incorporated.  The Foundation provides grants to innovative programs that address problems to be solved, or opportunities to be seized, that are of regional, national or international significance.  The Foundation also accepts and distributes chapter grants to support innovative programs that provide creative responses to changing needs, in the general fields of health, education, social services, and cultural and international affairs, in communities of African descent.
